Let’s Learn About Lead Safety in Connecticut
March 2021
This 25 minute EPA New England webinar helps parents and kids (K-3) in Connecticut learn about lead. The video will explain what lead is, where lead is found in Connecticut, and educate parents and kids on how to stay safe from lead. This event engages kids and parents on an important public health issue with a Question & Answer session led by EPA Region 1 experts.

In February of 2019, OceanX hosted researcher Duncan Irschik as he taught Bahamian scientists from Cape Eleuthera Institute about his groundbreaking technology known as BEASTCAM. A series of 30 cameras, Beastcam captures snapshots of live animals from all angles to form a cohesive 3D model, similar to the technology that video game designers use to create lifelike renders of humans. This video campaign was created in New York City for Shark Week & encouraged people to use the SketchFab App to make their own video.
